Position Duties Author Perspective
Have to see if there is any definitions in the governing documents - dont remember seeing any. There are general website that explain these roles and I may use that to define the duties but will caveat that it is not this HOA defined https://www.flsenate.gov/laws/statutes/2018/720.303 Florida Senate - Association powers and duties; meetings of board; official records; budgets; financial reporting; association funds; recalls.
Treasurer if allowed (safe) to not approach defamation and liable concerns; author will publish what is legally allowed of the board members. I can't find any information that explain the duties or role description specifically. I will come back to this - at least with some general definitions of what is normal for this role Handles the budget I think - but not sure what else specifically - any board member can sign contracts based on governing documents - I think From the Charter - Article 4: The Treasurer shall have primary responsibility for preparing teh Association's budgets as provided for in the Charter, and may delegate all or part of the preparation and notification duties to a finance committee, management agent, or both

April 24, 2025 - HOA Board Meeting Focus was more tempered - asked about processes to HOA Management on things that were reported Really one of the only members of the board that wanted to ask about processes or fairness. Overly trusted what HOA Management CCMC Manager says because a lot of what is stated may not be the whole story (incomplete)
