Position Duties Author Perspective
Have to see if there is any definitions in the governing documents - dont remember seeing any. There are general website that explain these roles and I may use that to define the duties but will caveat that it is not this HOA defined https://www.flsenate.gov/laws/statutes/2018/720.303 Florida Senate - Association powers and duties; meetings of board; official records; budgets; financial reporting; association funds; recalls.
President if allowed (safe) to not approach defamation and liable concerns; author will publish what is legally allowed of the board members. I can't find any information that explain the duties or role description specifically. I will come back to this - at least with some general definitions of what is normal for this role

March 2025 - HOA resident annual meeting HOA Management ran this meeting - HOA President had a few words and facilitated some. There were some conversations from the audience or conversations where the common statement was "glad you brought that to our/my attention" Placations as a service I think - I spoke with this person and they patted me on the head and sent me back to the kids table with statements like "the process"
Aopril 24, 2025 - HOA Board Meeting Ran the Meeting (thought this was the HOA Director - Resident member responsibility). Meeting was ran well overall where this role had to take any actions. Coached discussions in the agenda. Decent job overall - controlled a few things that were out of bounds. Still placated many - three to four things asked from the very limited number of attendees (6 other than me/spouse) and only verbally spoke to one of them
